I am passionate about making the voice of young people heard on whatever issue YOU would like to be tackled.

So far, I have enjoyed meeting various people in my role, such as, Dr Andy Mycock – Senior Lecturer in Politics at Huddersfield University, Councillors O’Donovan and Patel from Dewsbury.
In my role as a media rep I have helped develop the KYC website and to connect members of the youth council to each other by introducing new communication methods.
Sometimes I get frustrated that we can not get things done because of money contraints. I have learnt not to expect too much and to be content with the resources we already have.
I am looking forward to the new Kirklees Youth Council grants scheme being accessed by other young people.
